“It was a good day, we decided to do the most laps out of anybody so we completed a lot, which was cool; probably the most I’ve done in the car at once. You always learn more on these days as you effectively do three race distances. With the limited number of races I’ve done, it’s helpful to do a day like this. It’s not often that you get through the full programme you plan on doing, so credit to the Team today, they were very organised. When you get to run as many tyres as we have today, it’s always exciting. It was a nice way to end the season and head into the winter break.”

“Today was a very big experience from the start and I learnt a lot. I was also wanting to do my very best for the Team and for its future in the 2025 season. I received good feedback from the Team that they were happy with how everything went today, so I am very glad about that as well. Even for the performance running I was able to do quite decent laps so overall I was actually quite pleased with my performance. As the day went on I felt more and more confident in the car and feel like I am really getting used to the feel of an F1 car. Hopefully next time that I get another opportunity to drive again, my performance will be even better.”

“We had Liam and Ayumu driving for VCARB today in the current car, set up in a similar specification to the Abu Dhabi GP. Liam was driving with Pirelli’s 2025 tyres. He completed a number of suspension set up checks on low and high fuel, to assess the impact these tyres will have on the car, and to advance our learnings for next season. Ayumu was running with this season’s tyres and had a very good day, jumping back into the car after driving it in FP1 in Abu Dhabi. Ayumu was very comfortable and gave excellent feedback. He ran at the end of the day with the Soft tyre and set a competitive lap time and was happy with the car. Overall, it’s been a very productive day. Both cars ran reliably, and we completed a huge number of laps and have a lot of data to pour over before we start testing again in February. Thank you to the whole Team for this season.”
